For schools AI skills, made playful

Teach the skill of the future:
talking to AI.

Your pupils describe a game in their own words. AlphaGen's AI builds it in seconds. Then they play it, test it, explain what to change and make it better. Along the way they learn to give AI clear instructions, check what it makes and think for themselves.

Free trial includes 2,000 ZCoins (about 20 games). No card needed to start. No subscription, ever.

๐Ÿค– Why children should learn to use AI now

AI tools are quickly becoming part of everyday life and work, much like search engines and computers did before them. The children in your class will grow up using AI to learn, create and solve problems. The most useful skill is not knowing a particular tool, it's knowing how to work with AI well: asking clearly, checking the answer and improving it.

๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Clear thinking, clear asking

The better a pupil explains what they want, the better the AI's result. Pupils quickly learn that vague requests give vague games, and precise, detailed instructions give exactly what they imagined. That's prompting, and it's really just great communication.

๐Ÿ” Checking, not just trusting

AI makes mistakes. Pupils test every game, spot what's wrong ("the cat walks through walls!") and ask for a fix. They learn that AI is a helper to question and check, not something to copy blindly.

๐Ÿ” Improving step by step

Every game gets better through small changes: "make it harder", "add a timer", "the jump is too low". This is the same test, feedback and improve loop that real designers, engineers and programmers use.

๐ŸŽจ Creating, not copying

Pupils start from their own idea: a dinosaur racing in space, a cat surfing on a pizza. The AI is their tool; the imagination, decisions and design are theirs.

๐Ÿงฉ Breaking problems down

To build a game they must think about the player, the goal, the rules and how you win. Planning with Buddy, our AI helper, teaches them to break a big idea into clear parts.

๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ Using AI safely and kindly

Pupils learn good habits early: never sharing personal information, being kind in comments, and understanding that AI tools have rules too.

โœ๏ธ Prompting in action

The difference a good instruction makes, shown to pupils in their very first game:

โŒ "make a game"

The AI has to guess everything. The game is random and probably not what the pupil wanted.

โœ… "A penguin slides down a snowy mountain collecting fish and jumping over rocks. Tap or press space to jump. The game gets faster every 10 seconds and you win at 50 fish."

Hero, setting, goal, controls, difficulty and how to win: the AI builds exactly this.

๐ŸŽฎ Why games?

They want to do it

Children love games. Making their own turns screen time into creative time, and keeps even reluctant learners engaged until the end of the lesson.

Instant feedback

A game shows straight away whether an instruction worked. Pupils see cause and effect in seconds, which makes learning to improve their prompts natural and fun.

Something to be proud of

Every pupil finishes with a real game they made, can play with classmates and can show at home.

Learning together

Pupils play each other's games, give kind feedback, remix ideas and take part in class challenges.

๐Ÿงญ How it works

  1. Create your teacher account. Sign in with your school Google account and you're approved instantly, with a free 1-week trial and 2,000 ZCoins.
  2. Create a class. Choose ๐Ÿ”’ private (only your class can see pupils' work) or ๐ŸŒ public (pupils share games with the world and other classes).
  3. Add your pupils. Type a list of nicknames: AlphaGames creates a username and easy password for each. No pupil email addresses needed. Print a login card for everyone.
  4. Share ZCoins. Give coins to the whole class, reward individual pupils, or set an automatic weekly allowance. A new game costs 100 ZCoins; improving a game is free.
  5. Pupils create. They plan their idea with Buddy, the friendly AI helper, build it in AlphaGen Studio, test it and improve it. You see every pupil's games and progress on your dashboard.

๐Ÿ“‹ A ready-made first lesson (about 45 minutes)

1. Starter ยท 10 min

Show the two prompts above. Ask: which one will the AI understand better, and why? Agree on the 5 things a good game idea needs: hero, setting, goal, controls, how to win.

2. Create ยท 25 min

Pupils log in with their cards, plan their idea with Buddy and build their first game. Challenge: make one improvement using a clear instruction.

3. Review ยท 10 min

Pupils play a partner's game and give one kind "star" and one helpful "wish". Reflect: which instruction made the biggest difference?

Links naturally with computing (instructions, testing and debugging), English (clear, precise writing), design and technology (design, make, evaluate) and online safety.

๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ Built for safety from day one

๐Ÿ”’ Private classes

Hidden completely: not in search, lists, leaderboards or Google. Only classmates, you and AlphaGames admins can see pupils' work.

๐Ÿ‘ค Minimal data

Pupils need no email address and no real name: just a nickname. Pupils can't buy anything; coins come only from you.

๐Ÿค– Checked by AI and people

Every comment, gift message and profile picture is checked before others see it. Admins review every new game. Anything unsuitable is removed.

๐Ÿ’ฌ No private messaging

There are no direct messages between users. In a private class, pupils can only comment on classmates' games.

๐Ÿงฑ Games run safely

Every game runs in a locked "sandbox": it can't access accounts, open other websites, show pop-ups or collect information.

โ“ Questions teachers ask

Do pupils need an email address?

No. You create pupil logins with a username and an easy password, and you can print a login card for every pupil.

Can people outside the class see pupils' work?

Not in a private class. Private classes are hidden completely: only classmates, their teacher and AlphaGames admins can see pupils' profiles and games. In a public class, games are visible to everyone and pupils can play and comment on other classes' games.

Do pupils need to know how to code?

No. Pupils describe their game in their own words and the AI writes the code. The skill they practise is explaining an idea clearly, testing the result and improving it. Curious pupils can also look at the code the AI wrote.

What if the AI makes something unsuitable?

AlphaGen is instructed to make child-friendly games only, every new game is reviewed by AlphaGames admins, and anything unsuitable is removed. Comments, messages and pictures are checked before others see them.

What happens when the free trial ends?

Your classes, pupils and games all stay. To keep making new games, buy a teacher ZCoin pack. Pupils can always play, improve and share the games they've already made.

What data do you keep about pupils?

Only what's needed: a nickname, a username, a securely stored password, their class, and the games, comments and coins they create on AlphaGames. See our policies for schools, including how the school stays in control of pupil data.

Can we use our own AI account?

Yes. Add your school's own AI key (Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude and others) to a class and it's used first, so there's no waiting at busy times. Please check your provider's rules for use with pupils.
