AlphaGames

Terms and Conditions ๐Ÿ“œ

Version 1 ยท Last updated 5 October 2026

The short version โœจ

  • ๐ŸŽฎ AlphaGames is a place to make games with AI (in AlphaGen Studio) and play games made by others.
  • ๐Ÿ’› Be kind, and keep everything suitable for children. Read our Rules.
  • ๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธ Your games are yours. When you publish one, you let AlphaGames show it, let people play and remix it, and share it.
  • ๐Ÿช™ ZCoins are just for fun. They aren't real money and can't be swapped for money.
  • ๐Ÿ”’ Never share personal information like your real name, school, address, phone number or passwords.
  • ๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ We can remove games or pause accounts that break the rules.

1. About these terms

These terms explain how you may use AlphaGames (alphagames.uk), including AlphaGen Studio, the AI game maker. By creating an account or using AlphaGames, you agree to these terms and to our Rules.

AlphaGames is a sole trader business based in the United Kingdom, trading as "AlphaGames". You can contact us at [email protected].

2. Who can use AlphaGames

  • AlphaGames is for everyone who loves games.
  • You need a valid email address or Google account to sign up. Keep your password private.

3. Your account

  • Choose a nickname that isn't your real name and doesn't pretend to be someone else.
  • You are responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else is using it.
  • We may pause or close accounts that break these terms or the Rules.

4. Making games with AI

  • AlphaGen Studio sends your game ideas, plans and game code to AI services run by other companies (such as Google, Cerebras, Groq, Mistral, Cloudflare and OpenRouter) so they can build and change your game.
  • AI can make mistakes. We test games automatically, but we can't promise that every game works perfectly.
  • If you choose "Use your own AI", you use another company's AI (like ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude) under that company's own terms. We don't control those services.
  • Making a new game with AlphaGen may cost ZCoins, and there is a daily limit on new games. Changing your games is free.

5. Your games and pictures

  • You keep the rights you have in your ideas, games and pictures.
  • When you publish a game, you give AlphaGames permission (free of charge, worldwide, and for as long as the game is on AlphaGames) to store it, show it, let people play it, make preview pictures of it, feature it in challenges and lists, and share it, including on AlphaGames' own social media.
  • Other players may remix your published games on AlphaGames. Remixes always credit the original creator.
  • You can delete your games at any time. Copies that were already shared or remixed may stay.
  • Only upload things you made or are allowed to use. Don't use other people's characters, brands, music or pictures without permission.

6. Rules of behaviour

Follow our Rules. In particular, don't:

  • post anything that isn't suitable for children, or that is mean, scary, violent, hateful or rude;
  • bully anyone, or share personal information about yourself or others;
  • cheat at scores or ZCoins, use bots, or try to break, hack or overload AlphaGames;
  • put harmful code in games, or try to collect information from players;
  • spam, or advertise other websites or products.

7. How we keep AlphaGames safe

  • Games go live straight away. AlphaGames admins check new and changed games and remove anything that breaks the Rules.
  • Comments, bug reports and gift messages are checked by word filters and an AI moderator, and players can report anything unkind.
  • If something breaks the Rules, we may remove it, take back ZCoins earned from it, or pause the account.

8. ZCoins

  • ZCoins are points you earn and spend on AlphaGames. They have no money value and can't be exchanged for money, sold, or moved outside AlphaGames.
  • We may change how many ZCoins things earn or cost, and we may remove ZCoins gained by cheating or by breaking the Rules.
  • ZCoins are lost if an account is closed.

9. Buying ZCoins

  • You can buy ZCoin packs in the shop. Payments are handled securely by Stripe; we never see your card details.
  • Only buy with your own card, or with the card owner's permission.
  • Prices are shown in pounds (GBP) and include any taxes. Each pack is a one-off payment, not a subscription.
  • ZCoins are added to your account straight away. Because they are digital content delivered immediately, you agree that the usual 14-day cancellation right ends once the coins are added. This doesn't affect your other legal rights: if something goes wrong with a purchase, contact us and we'll put it right.
  • Bought ZCoins work like any other ZCoins: they have no cash value, can't be exchanged for money, and don't count towards ranks.
  • To keep spending safe, there is a daily spending limit per account.

10. Merch (printed products)

  • Creators can order their own games printed on products like mugs, T-shirts, posters, stickers and phone cases. Products are made to order and printed and posted by our partner Printful.
  • Prices include UK delivery. We currently deliver to UK addresses only. Delivery usually takes about a week.
  • Because each product is personalised with your game, you can't cancel or return it just because you changed your mind. If it arrives damaged, faulty or wrong, contact us within 30 days and we'll replace it or refund you. This doesn't affect your legal rights.
  • Check your game's name and picture before ordering: what you see in the preview is what gets printed.

11. Sharing on social media

  • You can share your games on any social network or messaging app using the Share buttons. AlphaGames never posts for you; you choose what to share.
  • Always follow each social network's own rules.
  • Posts you share are public and are controlled by that social network, not by AlphaGames.
  • Never add personal information (real name, school, address, phone number or photos) to your posts.

12. Your privacy

Full details are in our policies for schools and families.

  • What we keep: your email address, nickname and (if you add them) your name, bio and picture; your games, comments, scores, likes and ZCoin history; and basic information about how the site is used. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google (your Google picture is only shown to you).
  • Why: to run your account and AlphaGames, keep it safe, and improve it.
  • Who else sees it: your nickname, profile and published games are public. AI services receive game ideas, plans, game code and messages that need checking (see section 4). We never sell your information.
  • Cookies: we use a cookie to keep you logged in, and your browser stores a few settings. We don't use advertising trackers.
  • Your choices: you can change or delete your games and profile at any time. To get a copy of your data or close your account, contact us (section 1).

13. Changes and availability

  • AlphaGames is provided as it is. We may change, pause or stop features, and the free AI may sometimes be busy or limited.
  • We may update these terms. If the changes are important, we'll ask you to agree again before you carry on.

14. Responsibility

We work hard to keep AlphaGames safe and working, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses caused by using AlphaGames, by games made by other players or by AI, or by other websites and social networks. Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights as a consumer, or any responsibility that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

15. The law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also use the courts where you live.
